Welcome to my new and improved website!

I finally took my own advice and delegated a huge piece of my business to the professional experts at HeadsUp Marketing. Much thanks to Lynn Abent and her dedicated staff, Laurel Bishop and Chase Aertker for helping me move into the new age of technology.

With this new site and blog, I now have a serious platform to help clients and readers stay in touch with a variety of organizing tidbits.

Visit this blog (only on a scheduled basis, of course) to learn about:

Why Delegation Matters

For this first blog (my first ever, thank you), I want to focus on that concept I mentioned above: delegate.

As I pointed out, I took my own advice about employing the right people to do a job that is unfamiliar territory for me. The ever-elusive website and social media buttons that one needs to push to make magic happen.

I have been in business for seven years and have relied on client referrals and referral networking as my main way to get new business. Realizing the value my clients receive (“transformative” and “could not have done it without you,” are words I frequently hear), I want to reach even more people who can benefit from my organizing expertise so they, too, can conquer overwhelming disorganization.

Of course, I have always known that social media could broaden my reach to help others. I purchased self-help books (like many of you), clicked on endless links about “Social Media for Idiots”, and built my own website.

The site I built was clean and organized, but it wasn’t quite cutting it. I realized that I was putting far too much time, energy, and money into an important aspect of my business that was not providing enough ROI. Enter HeadsUp Marketing and exit the additional time and money spent on books and advertising.

Now that these experts have my back, I look forward to reaching more people interested in learning how to be more productive and efficient with professional organizing.

Productivity Tip for this Week: Delegate tasks to experts so you can put your time and energy into the parts of your business or personal life that truly matter.
